Two-Day Clay Monoprinting Workshop

Award-winning artists and experienced teachers, Mitch Lyons and Priscilla Snow Algava, will inspire you to express your unique visual voice!

In a nurturing environment, students will learn the unique clay printmaking process developed in the early 1970’s by Mitch Lyons.  Using a leather-hard clay slab, colored slips and pigments, experienced and novice students will create textures, images, marks and layer colors on the matrix.  Students will learn to “pull prints.”

A process where everyone succeeds, artists will experiment and experience the power of the clay printmaking process.
